The National Rugby League has updated its rules to provide Jai Arrow special dispensation. The rule update follows his forced retirement from rugby league because of motor neurone disease. This special dispensation allows Arrow to reach 100 games for the South Sydney Rabbitohs. Overcome Rabbitohs players were informed of the decision. He can now achieve a milestone.
Separately, a man given a diagnosis of MND 29 years ago remains ill but alive. In another development, a UK patient aged 36 learned he has 10 years to live after his diagnosis.
