Jason Morrison took the stand during recent proceedings. As a past co-worker of Alan Jones, he told the court he observed nothing unusual during a lunch attended by the alleged victim.
He called the occasion a relaxed professional gathering that felt normal and kept him comfortable. The court heard his testimony on 23 August 2026.
While recalling the gathering, he remembered other guests remarking that Jones and the young man looked like a great couple. He maintained that the comment was harmless banter and was not meant to be improper.
Several attendees present made the remark during the course of the meal. Morrison emphasised that the light-hearted banter did not alter his opinion that everything about the meeting remained entirely proper.
