Ed Harris complained initially about his limited part in the series in Dutton Ranch, the Yellowstone spin-off. He thought the role was meaningless and demanded to quit. Harris told Variety, 'bluntly Get me the f- out of here' as he threw his hands up. He later agreed to return for Season 2 to come back for the next season. The show’s boss tweaked the story and gave his character more to do. That change made Harris decide to stay. Deadline now says he will appear again in the part.
