Governor Newsom signed new laws to limit Immigration and Customs Enforcement ICE activities in California. The laws include restrictions on the use of conductive gloves by officers and protections for immigrant communities. These measures follow a recent case where a baby girl was found dead in a trash bin, leading to the arrest of her mother. The new laws aim to respond to issues related to ICE activities and assist immigrant groups.
