The NFL is eliminating the annual Pro Bowl event after 75 years. The league is scrapping the actual game, but star players will continue to be recognized. Players will continue to be named as Pro Bowlers to receive their annual honors.
Player honors will remain intact despite the cancellation of the match. However, alternates will no longer be acknowledged by the league. The ruling brings an end to the 75 year history of the yearly event, but leading stars will still receive their official Pro Bowl honors each year.
