Old Xaverians are stripped of their place in the VAFA Premier Division grand final. The club was disqualified after it selected someone who did not qualify. This stemmed from a clerical error. The team said its players and staff feel awful about the mistake. St Kevin's will assume Old Xaverians' place in the final. The league stated the rule was violated and the forfeit takes effect immediately.
