Nathan Buckley has withdrawn from the North Melbourne head coaching position, which will be filled by Jaymie Graham after he crossed from Fremantle. Buckley's departure from contention has drawn interest from two other clubs.

Brisbane is now connected with Buckley as a candidate to replace outgoing coach Chris Fagan. Carlton has also been connected to the former Collingwood premiership coach, with reports describing him as a possible target as the search continues.
