London police discovered a tiny marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff identified the vulnerable animal on July 18. The animal was nervous and had no water while trembling. It survived the traumatic ordeal. Animal advocates labeled it an criminal abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers found a rare monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery occurred during a standard survey in the Congo Basin.
