Michael Taaffe earned his first NFL start. He finished with his first career interception. The Miami Dolphins rookie safety intercepted Kirk Cousins after the break. Taaffe was used at safety with Zayne Anderson. Dante Trader Jr. was not in the starting pair. The interception arrived on the opening possession after halftime. It gave Miami possession for the opening series of the half. Kirk Cousins later threw his third scoring pass. That put them up 24-13 on the scoreboard. Taaffe's takeaway was the rookie's maiden NFL interception of his career.
