Kingborough Lions dumped Melbourne Victory out of the Australia Cup with a 3-0 win at the Showgrounds in Hobart. About 3,000 people turned up and watched an A-League Men side get pushed around, that defeat sending Victory out of the cup straight away. Further south, Melbourne City had a much calmer outing beating Weston Bears 3-0. Both teams now head into the cup's last 16. Victory will look to reset quickly with a league game right around the corner.
