Users worldwide report problems with Instagram ranging from sign-in errors and delayed updates. Downdetector data shows a rapid rise in outage reports matching these issues. All the app and website appear affected concurrently. Meta has yet to release a statement about the disruption as of 22 July 2026. Similar issues have been noted across its parent platform, Messenger and Instagram at the same time.
